So I guess I have a gigantic uterus. I've been having these incredible stomach pains for the past few days, so yesterday the doctor had me come in and go on the fetal monitor just to make sure I wasn't in labor or anything. Well, I'm not, and the baby looks good, but the pains are coming from my gigantic uterus. I thought it would be gallbladder, or severe constipation, or something, but it's my uterus. Apparently it's growing rapidly right now and is measuring larger than it should for this stage of the game. Because of the rapid expansion, all of my muscles and organs in that area are being pushed upward, causing these sharp pains right under my boobs. It was so bad Monday night that I didn't sleep (but last night I slept from 5:30 til 7 the next morning, so that was good!). I'm feeling better today so hopefully things have stretched out a bit and I won't be in so much pain. So go ahead, make fun of the girl with the giant uterus.
