If you can, look at the webcam picture of Ev on the right side of this page. Why, it's Evan in his crib! What's he doing there? Well, he's STANDING UP.

And this is not a posed picture, friends. Ev was sitting up playing in his crib just now while I checked my e-mail, and I look over and he is standing up. I put him back down on his rear and watch him this time as he works his way over to the side, uses the rails to pull himself to his knees, and then reaches for the top bar with his hands to pull himself to standing.

And now he's just standing there, chillin', grinning widely with a sense of accomplishment. I clapped for him "Yay, Evan!" and he was just so pleased. Oh, it looks like he also just figured out how to lower himself back down. Amazing.

This is a phenomenal day.
